Sopheak and Sombo: The Directors
We have a resident dental team of one overseas dentist, two expanded duty nurses, two dental assistants and a sterilizing technician.
We welcome outside volunteers to help, teach and inspire us. We love new friends from all over the world. We speak reasonable English!
The staff are eager to make your stay comfortable and will help with cultural issues. We provide a flip cartoon booklet that translates common terms: "open wide, close, My Name is...."
We try to see about 30 to 50 children each morning and do the usual range of pedodontics including surgery, endodontics and preventative care.
We can bring special cases in the afternoon by arrangement.
We suggest at least a two week stint in order to get to know Cambodia, the staff and the children.

Welcome to Dental Volunteers for Cambodia
The clinic is largely staffed by Khmer trainees chosen from the centers and it is open year round. There is always at least one dentist advising. You will be teaching Khmers to help themselves.
